1. You may move the wire harness to the backside of the motor; simplified harness is okay.
2. NO CARB SWAPS or distributor swaps, No aftermarket shifters, no aftermarket pedals. OEM motor and trans, year, make, and model specific.
3. Bumpers must remain 100% stock OEM, but can be swapped from any Passenger car or 3x5 60” long box tubing max. If using box tubing it must be flat and straight across. No welding or reinforcing. (NO STUFFING UNIBODIES or FRAMES, WE WILL BE SCOPING THEM). You can have 2 strands of #9 wire per side from bumper to core support to keep bumper from falling off.
4. No shortening front frame except to make a flat mounting surface. Front Bumpers may be butt welded to frame, with one 4x4x1/4 bumper strap. Weld them on good so we don’t have to pick up a bunch of bumpers.
5. Doors can be welded 12” total vertical seams only with 3”x1/8” flat strap max.
6. Hood and trunk/tailgate must be held shut with chain or #9 wire or 3/8 bolts 4 spots max with 4 strands per location. If using bolts, Stamped washers only ½” max. HOOD and TRUNK MUST BE OPEN FOR INSPECTION.
7. You can have a maximum of 4-point cage that does not extend more than 12” behind seat. You can have fuel tank protector, but it can only be wide enough to protect fuel cell. (NOT DOOR TO DOOR). You can also have a halo bar. May bolt in roof in 2 spots with 2 ½” bolts 6” long.
8. All cars MUST have some sort of window bar or strap to keep the hood from coming into the car.
9. Fuel tanks must be moved into the back seat area. No factory tanks in the back seat, Metal tanks only, no plastic tanks, mounted safely and securely. Fuel pump must have a on/off switch of some kind, and a shut off valve on the tank.
10. Suspension needs to remain stock, may chain or wire to limit suspension travel. This may be done with 1 spot per wheel consisting of 4 strands of 9 wire around unibody area or 1 3/8 chain loop with a 4” long bolt, bolted back into itself. Do not abuse this rule.
